I felt lonely before I connected to my true self ♥

But sometimes I forget. I forget to find out who I really am and turn out to be someone others expect me to be.

That is when I need to stop, and reconnect.

After some practice I am getting better at it. I recognize the signs when I feel lost and off track.

You could practice too. Enjoy the moments when you feel true to your self, and at peace with yourself.

Remember the quote:

“You find peace not by rearranging the circumstances of your life, but by realizing who you are at the deepest level.”
― Eckhart Tolle

Is that thought scary? At first it might be, since we are not used to that thinking, but after practicing we realize that it is comforting and strengthening to truly connect with yourself.

  • Once you become friends with yourself you don’t need to feel lonely anymore!
  • Once you connect with yourself, you will find it easier to connect with others.

Knowing myself makes me strong enough to love others.  Lotta

Peace and Love to you

  1. Lotta, what a great post this is!

In the entrance of Apollo’s temple in Delphi, the visitor would read: “Know Thy Self.” Out of all the wisdom in ancient Greek philosophy why had they chosen this one?

Because, inside our destructible body there is the infinite and the divine, the all powerful soul. When we take the time to know this soul, the two parts of us unite, we are one with Life everywhere, we are one with God, and everything is possible!

Enjoy the reunion with your higher inner self! That is the guide and companion we want to take along, as we sail through our journey.
